MBA – Supply Chain Management Track

In today’s fast-paced and interconnected global economy, companies need experts who can manage their warehouse and transportation systems. As a supply chain manager, you can help your company maintain a competitive edge by ensuring that materials and products make it from source to consumer as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Program Overview

Supply chain managers have their eyes, ears and hands on nearly every stage of a product’s life cycle. In this role, you’ll oversee the purchase and storage of raw materials, track their development into new products, and develop cost-effective strategies for shipping the largest quantities possible to your company’s consumer base. Your attention to detail and solution-based mindset make you vital to the success of companies in virtually every major industry, from hospital and retail to manufacturing, distribution and even banking.

In supply chain management, you are responsible for material sourcing, transportation, inventory control and operations management. Our specialized track blends core MBA skills with proficiency in logistics technology, analytics, global markets and team-based project leadership to prepare you for success at the top of a field experiencing tremendous growth.

The supply-chain track also is offered through QU Online, as part of our online MBA program, allowing you more flexibility to complete your studies and advance your career while balancing the responsibilities of work and life.

Curriculum and Requirements

The MBA-SCM track has the same number of credits as the MBA program. The first 28 credits of the track are the MBA core. Students then take specialized concentration courses to complete the 46 credits required for the MBA. A student interested in the MBA-SCM track should indicate this to his/her adviser early in the program.
