This five-course certificate program perfectly complements our international business major, and prepares you for management roles within organizations of all sizes. The specialized knowledge and global perspective you’ll develop in this certificate program will give you a competitive edge—whether you are working in the private sector, banking industry, or in government agencies or nonprofits.
The 15 credits required for the certificate can be incorporated into the BS in international business program, or can complement a different major. The courses examine essential elements of exporting and global marketing. You’ll become familiar with international negotiation, global supply chain management and international marketing and finance, and you’ll explore the effects of globalization. This field is incredibly diverse with career opportunities working in consulates, for the Export-Import Bank or at a wide variety of multinational corporations that export or engage in outsourcing.
