Living at Quinnipiac

Your life as a Bobcat

Quinnipiac is an amazing place to live. Why? When you become a Bobcat, you join a vibrant and diverse community in an environment purposefully designed to create a healthy and active lifestyle, build lifelong friendships, and to unlock and embrace your passions.

Our campuses are nestled among the rolling hills of Southern New England, surrounding you with natural beauty. Make our residence halls your home and enjoy living in modern architect-designed spaces that foster a sense of community and togetherness. Walk the beautifully manicured campus, and grab a coffee from our full-service Starbucks as you head to class or for a study session at our state-of-the-art Arnold Bernhard Library. Between classes, pop into one of the on-campus fitness centers for a group fitnes class or to use the weight-lifting equipment. Grab your friends for dinner in the Carl Hansen Student Center before heading to the TD Bank Sports Center to cheer on your nationally ranked ice hockey team.

Living at Quinnipiac puts you in the center of it all, with access to everything you need to get the most out of your college experience.

Dynamic and diverse places to make your own

With more than a dozen residence halls and even more off-campus housing options, it’s easy to find exactly what you’re looking for — whether you’re entering as a first-year student, transferring from another school, or finishing out your final year.

Approximately 4,800 students live in university-owned housing in traditional residence halls, suites, apartments and off-campus houses. While it's not a requirement to live on campus, 94% of freshmen do. Every residence hall is comfortable and welcoming, each with its own unique character and style. Our residence hall community has been purposefully designed to provide a village-like atmosphere that you'll love calling home.

In Their Words

Your home away from home

“Every morning, I wake up and I don't have that ‘missing home feeling’ — because Quinnipiac University is my new home,” said Mackenzie Campbell '19. “Ever since the first day of freshman year, I knew this would be the place where I would discover myself and become the student and person I was destined to be. This year, I was lucky enough to be a first-year resident assistant and the experience is unlike any other. I love watching my residents come together and create a community.”

These include familiar favorites from Starbucks, Au Bon Pain and Boar’s Head Deli, to a variety of culinary options that range from classic American and southwestern, to Asian, Italian and Mediterranean.

We make meals matter. We believe food is best enjoyed fresh and crafted from only the best ingredients. So whether it's a sit-down meal with friends, quick bite or coffee break, good food is something you will look forward to.
