Across 8 schools and a College of Arts and Sciences, career development is paramount to a Quinnipiac education. We provide all students with the skills, experiences and support to obtain a position in their desired field, while helping organizations choose ideal job recruits. Our decentralized approach provides employers with a highly customized recruiting experience, enabling them to target candidates in specific academic programs or schools.

Students and alumni are highly educated and well-rounded, bringing a wealth of skills and knowledge to the workplace. If you are interested in recruiting talent, we will work with you to build a customized program to meet your hiring needs.

We can assist you with:

·       Posting full-time and internship listings

·       Obtaining student resumes for specific positions

·       Developing an internship program

·       Arranging site visits for student groups

·       Participating in our career fairs

Principals for Professional Practice

Our career development and employment professionals help students attain personally rewarding careers while helping employers make effective candidate selections. We believe that the success of this relationship depends on a mutual commitment to principals for professional practice.

Quinnipiac adheres to the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) Principals for Professional Conduct for Career Services and Employment Professionals. Quinnipiac University Career Development follows the definition of “internship” as articulated by NACE’s standards and criteria. The full definition can be found on the NACE site by following the link below:

The future of your workforce is found right here

At Quinnipiac, we equip students with what the modern job market requires: a diverse skillset, global perspective, social intelligence and a collaborative mindset. We accomplish this by integrating academic and career development, and by providing numerous opportunities for hands-on experience. These include internships, volunteering and international study.

All of our students are driven to pursue every meaningful job resource and embrace every opportunity to expand their talents and expertise. Our career development professionals work closely with them to find internships that match their unique skillsets and goals. Because of this highly personalized approach, our three campuses are pools of highly talented and driven individuals and future leaders.

It's no secret why job fairs and other events bring eager representatives from hundreds of companies to Quinnipiac each year—our graduates have the skills and ambition employers are looking for. Committed to continuing success

At Quinnipiac, we have a saying: once a Bobcat, always a Bobcat. What that means is that our commitment to student success doesn’t end at graduation. While current students enjoy a range of career development services, we extend many of the same resources to alumni from all of our schools as well.

Our career development alumni lead is dedicated to helping them find permanent jobs and enter new professional networks. She is effectively a liaison for employers and the Quinnipiac alumni community, working closely with both to match the right job candidates to the hiring needs of companies.
